Simplified CMOS-MOSFET H-Bridge Circuit

This a simplified version of Tri-State H-Bridge using CD4093B CMOS Circuit.
This H-bridge circuit uses a single CD4093B quad 2-input NAND gates integrated circuit. This is forward-reverse only.

The above truth table illustrates only two output modes.
Be sure to connect the H-bridge ground to Arduino, etc. ground. The "*" connection must go to Arduino, etc. +Vcc.

The DIR connection can be broken into two separate connections. This is shown in Fig. 2.

Be sure to connect the H-bridge ground to Arduino, etc. ground. The "*" connection must go to Arduino, etc. +Vcc.

CD4093B Quad 2-Input NAND Schmitt Trigger is shown in Fig. 2. Voltage range 3-15-volts. While low power the current sink or source output is low. But this no problem driving MOSFET transistors.
The Schmitt trigger input assures better circuit performance in H-bridge circuits. There is better noise response.
